  • Sunrise departure with a friendly guide: Start at 6:30 AM, meet your guide and settle in. Enjoy morning refreshments and pause in Te Anau before heading into the mountains.

  • Schedule: Depart Queenstown at 6:30 AM and return around 7:30 PM: Departs Te Anau at 9.15am and return around 5:00 PM

  • Minimum numbers and scenic flight: Minimum numbers apply, and flight upgrades must be pre-arranged

PICK-UPS

  • It’s a full‑day experience. You leave Queenstown at 6:30 AM and return around 7:30 PM, with time for scenic stops, the cruise and a relaxed drive home.

    If you leave Te Anau it’s 9.15am to 5pm

  • We pick up from central Queenstown and Te Anau hotels. If you’re staying in an Airbnb or outside town, please contact us before booking to arrange the nearest meeting point.

  • This particular journey is best suited to guests aged nine and older. Younger children cannot be accommodated for safety and comfort reasons.

  • The road journey is capped at 8 guests. The Fiordland Jewel cruise may have up to 32 guests on board.

  • Yes. On board the catamaran you’ll enjoy a two‑course plated lunch made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Complimentary tea and coffee are served, and a licensed bar is available for other beverages. We will request your diet requirements at the time of booking.

  • Dress in layers and wear comfortable walking shoes—Fiordland weather can change quickly. Bring a waterproof jacket, sunscreen, a camera for photos and any personal medication for motion sickness.

  • The tour operates in most conditions. In the rare event of severe weather that would make travel unsafe, we’ll work with you to reschedule or provide a refund. If you’ve booked the optional scenic flight, it may be weather‑dependent.

  • The catamaran is equipped with restrooms. On the road we make regular comfort stops and there’s also a restroom at the Te Anau break.
