  • The RST Signature Series is our premium private touring range, designed for guests who want a more refined way to explore Te Waipounamu, New Zealand’s South Island. These tours combine luxury vehicles, local driver-guides, flexible touring and carefully selected scenic routes.

  • Signature Series tours are designed around a higher level of comfort, space and service. Depending on the route and group size, guests may travel in our luxury Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with only 8 guest seats, reclining captain’s chairs, heating, cooling, massage functions and a panoramic glass roof, or in our Land Rover Defender for more remote private touring and 4WD routes.

  • Yes. Our Land Rover Defender is used for selected private touring experiences where a premium 4WD vehicle is better suited to the route. It is ideal for places such as Skippers Canyon, Glenorchy, Paradise and more remote scenic backcountry areas.

  • Vehicle allocation depends on the tour route, group size, road conditions and the style of experience you are booking. Long-distance scenic journeys such as Milford Sound, Aoraki / Mt Cook and the West Coast are often best suited to the luxury Sprinter, while remote 4WD-style touring may be better suited to the Land Rover Defender.
